Pestana Group is a Portuguese tourism and leisure group. Its hotel chain Pestana Hotels and Resorts has 100 hotels with over 12,000 rooms. The group manages Pousadas de Portugal since 2003.

The Pestana Carlton Madeira's cliffside location is only 20 minutes by car from Madeira International Airport and 10 minutes on foot from the city centre. It is a Premium Ocean Resort with 248 rooms and 64 suites, including a presidential suite.
